Fondazione Sfera ETS is born from a precise vision: solidarity is not a unidirectional gesture, but a process of shared growth. We are a Third Sector entity that combines the rigor of academic research with the operational strength of humanitarian projects.

We draw inspiration from the Social Doctrine of the Church, Global Compact on Education and major international human rights treaties to transform theory into real impact. We build pathways toward autonomy in which every community and every individual becomes the protagonist of their own tomorrow.

The Foundation is the result of a strategic union between prestigious institutions, created to provide continuity and strength to the work of the S.F.E.R.A. Association and the memory of Bishop Gennaro Franceschetti.
Under the leadership of the President, Archbishop Angelo Vincenzo Zani, our Board of Directors works to ensure that every project is supported by solid ethical, scientific, and managerial foundations.

For Fondazione Sfera, the vision is the transition from assistance to empowerment: not just responding to a need, but enabling a person, a family, or a community to build their own future in autonomy and Responsibility.

Our Daily Commitment
Our mission is twofold and inseparable:
- Scientific Excellence (The Research Center): we study the dynamics of poverty, migration flows, and educational models. We do this through research and dialogue with academic partners to ensure every project is effective, sustainable, and respectful of local cultures.
- Human Action (Operational Impact): we transform data into life. We bring Education, health, and Welcoming where they are most needed—such as the Maison de Paix center in the DRC—providing not only material goods but skills and dignity.
Our goal is to create “laboratories of peace” where the theory of cooperation meets field practice, ensuring our donors maximum transparency and the real impact of every resource used.
