Associazione S.F.E.R.A. – Gennaro Franceschetti Onlus represents the origin and the driving force behind all the activities of Fondazione Sfera.
Founded in Brescia in 2011, the Association preserves the spiritual and human legacy of Monsignor Gennaro Franceschetti, Archbishop of Fermo, whose vision of Fraternity and dedication to the marginalized continues to guide every choice we make today.

While the Foundation serves as the strategic and scientific arm, the Association remains the heart of voluntary commitment, direct connection with the Brescia territory, and constant support for projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
About us
A History of Concrete Solidarity
The Association initiated the construction of Maison de Paix in 2012, transforming an intuition into a complex that today welcomes hundreds of students and professionals. This journey demonstrates how the active participation of citizens and the sharing of common ideals can generate profound social transformations.
The Association’s actions are based on three operational pillars:
Volunteer Mobilization
We involve people who put their skills at the service of human Development, both in Italy and on the ground in Kikwit.
Awareness and Culture
We organize events, photographic exhibitions, and meetings to promote a culture of cooperation based on mutual respect and knowledge.
Project Support
We collect the necessary resources to fuel educational and health initiatives, ensuring continuity for the mission of Maison de Paix.
Our Commitment: Educating to Build Peace
The Association works in close synergy with the Global Compact on Education, convinced that Education is the foundation of all freedom. Through the work of members and supporters, we promote a model of Welcoming that goes beyond material aid, focusing on the formation of the person and the growth of local capacities.
Every initiative of the Association is an invitation to collective Responsibility: taking care of others means building, together, a future where dignity is a right accessible to all.
