«Le Seigneur vit! Plus de larmes, plus de plaintes, plus de peur! Ni la mort, ni le sépulcre, de Lui ont été vainquers… C’est la victoire du Seigneur ressuscité!»
May the Lord grant us Peace!
Easter 2020
Dearest Friends, Relatives, and Benefactors,
with great affection and gratitude, we make ourselves present alongside each of you in this Easter celebration that is so different, particular, unique!
Best wishes for every blessing!
May the Risen Lord conquer our fears, help us overcome suffering, with the strength of life, of joy despite everything, of hope that, anchored in Him, does not die and will never die.
Certainly, the period we are living through is particular; it causes us to suffer, shakes us, isolates us, distancing us from our normal activities, from contact with the people, “great and small,” who are part of our daily lives, the parishioners who anxiously await being able to return to meet in our house, in our Chapel…, the little ones who wish to return to school: “Dad, when do these holidays end?”
Repeatedly and in different tones, we have received invitations to overcome these moments with serenity, creativity, and the commitment to the “different,” and this forms our daily quest to renew and repeat our “Yes” to life, to not let hope slip from our hands.
It is He, the Lord Jesus, who is our certainty: “Christ, my hope, is risen!”
To Him, dearest ones, we entrust your life, your desires, your fears, your expectations, your and our hopes. Courage! We are fraternally close to you, certain and grateful for your presence alongside us, your sisters in the Fraternity of the Democratic Republic of the Congo who, once again, thank you and assure you of our remembrance to the “Risen One” and to the Most Holy Mother, Queen of Heaven.
Together with our Young Sisters in formation, we embrace you affectionately,
Sr. Silvana, Sr. Marina R., Sr. Lúcia, Sr. Candide,
Sr. Rachele, Sr. Estela and Sr. Lamberta,
