Sister Rachele’s best wishes to the friends of Sfera Onlus
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” (Isaiah 9:1)
Merry Christmas 2020 and Happy New Year 2021
May the Lord give you peace!
Dear Friends of SFERA,
We come to you to wish you a Holy Christmas and a Happy New Year 2021.
We have lived through a year marked above all by the pandemic that still continues to terrorize and paralyze the entire world.
The Lord has been good to us, to our people, to our children, we have been, if one can say so, fortunate and protected.
In October, we reopened with 90 children who cheer us up every day with their cries of joy, their tears, perhaps because their mothers didn’t give them enough money to buy a snack, but then everything calms down and those who are more generous share the little they have.
May the Christmas we prepare to experience be an opportunity for each of us to open our hearts, our homes, to the brothers and sisters most in need of our help, our smile, our listening ear.
We are certain that the birth of the Child of Bethlehem can bring much hope and joy to those who are discouraged, to those who have lost the meaning of life!
“Yes, there is darkness in human hearts, but greater is the light of Christ. There is darkness in personal, family, and social relationships, but greater is the light of Christ. There is darkness in economic, geopolitical, and ecological conflicts, but greater is the light of Christ.” (Pope Francis, December 25, 2019).
Dearest ones, may the light of Christ continue to illuminate the heart of every man and woman of good will, showing each one the right path on the paths of peace, solidarity, and true good.
Heartfelt wishes to everyone!
On behalf of the people who are dear and close to us in this mission land, on behalf of the Angeline Franciscan Sisters, once again a thank you and a fraternal greeting,
vs. Suor Rachele
